Treating hemmorroids
|
|
In many cases of hemmorroids they will go away without the need for further treatment or cure. This is particularly true if the original reason for the hemmerhoids is constipation which is one of the most frequent reasons people get hemmroids (hemmeroids or hemmerroids).
Hemoroids is a very frequent and common condition, probably about every second adult age 50 will have suffered from hemorroids at at least one time in their life. Hemerhoids can affect you at any age but it is slightly more common around the mid ages or with elderly patients. It is a very emancipated condition since it affects both men and women at equal rates.
The
treatment of hemorhoids varies from simple precautions or avoidance measures
like getting rid of what caused the hemorrhoids in the first case - see list of
hemmorroid causes here - to more proactive treatment with hemmerhoid ointments
or hemmroid creams or in really difficult cases even with hemmeroids surgery.
Here's a traditional hemmerroid relief: Wash and scrape a dandelion root, then turn it in flower and fry in some oil. This will go down excellently well with potatoes and a sallad. Eat this dish once a day. Dandelion root has got its best nutrition content in the autumn when you can collect it for winter storage.
Or why not a version of the popular sitz bath for hemorrhoid treatment: Pour one bottle of red wine in a pot, heat to just over body temperature. Sit in this (well, maybe not in the pot...) until wine has gone cold again. It is said that just one treatment will get rid of your hemmoroids.
The plant (herb) Ranunculus Ficaria (fig buttercup) can be used to make either tea or a hemoroids ointment that is known to help with pain relief for external hemorroids.
Of the altermative doctors, the herbalist would probably have the greatest chance of curing your hemmerroids but the others might be worth a try, especially if you are already seeing one of these for other reasons. Alternative medicin can often be very good in the treatment of hemmoroids (hemroids).
These are simple things you can do to improve and help the natural healing process. Much of the pain and swelling of your hemroids should normally go away in less than a week if you follow these simple advice.
Haemmoroids can be either internal or external. Haemroids of the external, or prolapsed type of hemmerhoids are often the worst as there is more risk these hemriods will start bleeding or become inflamed. Internal haemmoroids can sometimes prolapse during a bowel movement and then go back again. Treatment of haemroids (hemmeroids) can range from herbal cures to haemmroid surgery. Pictures of hemmeroids are available on the net for your reference.
