How to treat hemmoroids (hemmroids, hemroids)

Hemmoroid treatment can be anything from doing nothing after the first symptoms of hemorrhoids (because often, hemroid treatment is not necessary

as hemorroids will often disappear after only a short time without the need for doing anything) to simple remedies like avoiding the basic causes of hemorrhoids (as listed below) and only for more difficult hemmeroids cases, any further hemmorroids treatment may be required - like non-prescription creams or ointments, prescription creams or for advanced cases, hemmerhoids surgery.

Sometimes, the very simple methods can be just what you need. If you have a job that requires sitting most of the day, even a short, brisk walk twice a day will be a very good treatment. Dietary changes, sometimes very slight, can help in many cases and sometimes also prevent hemroids. This is just a few simple suggestions on how to change small things in your life that will have a great impact on hemorrhoids.

Hemorroids treatment - for more advanced hemorrhoids

Treatment of hemmoroids - a natural method for the prevention and treatment was investigated by Sirikov in the late 80's (published in the Israel Journal of Medical Schience in that year). He showed (together with earlier works of Tagart from the late 1960's) that using a squatting position for bowel movements will change the anorectal angle so as to enlargening it which assists in emptying the bowel. The movement will then be easier and also faster which improves on the risk of getting hemroids.

As the amount of effort and time involved in the bowel movement is much reduced with a squatting position, this is to be prefered over the normal sitting position. Experiments with voluntary testers established the average time to be in the region of 60 seconds rather than 5-10 times that with a normal sitting position.

Another method, simpler than Sirikov's squatting idea is to simply lean forward (using a standard toilet seat) but this has not been investigated enough to ensure that it works. It could be something simple enough to try though if you think you have got hemmoroids (hemmroids) as a hemroid (hemorrhoid) prevention and treatment.
