Hemorrhoids, hemmroids, hemorroids, hemorrhoid, hemmorhoids, hemroids, piles - FAQ

Hemorrhoids are unusually or extra dilated or swollen veins and overlapping bloodvessels (or nerves), in the area of (or around) the anus which are often inflamed, and when a blood clot forms inside the bloodvessel, the condition can often complicate into anal bleeding.

External hemorrhoids are usually found beneath the conical extension of anus and are normally covered with an outer layer of tiny scalelike cells.

   Hemorroids

Internal hemorrhoids develops on the inside, over the conical extension of the anus and they will be covered by mucoid membranes.

Hemorrhoids will normally appear in a frontal position of the body, or near the right hand rear part body side. There is no difference in occurence between men and women. Children hemmroids are approximately equally frequent as adult hemroids.

Hemorrhoids Symptoms, Hemmroids Signs, and Hemroids Diagnosis

Hemmroids (hemorrhoids, hemoroids) can be present and still without showing any symptoms in many cases and in other cases they might cause protrusion, pain and bleeding. Any rectal bleeding should be taken seriously and always be examined by a qualified doctor rather than assuming it is hemorrhoids (which is still the most common case). Hemmroid bleeding usually follows after defecation and you might notice it in the bowl or on tissue. It is rare that the bleeding will lead to any serious haemorrhage. Both internal and external hemorroids can protrude and may either be reduced by manual means, or will do so spontaneously. It is only when a blood clot inside a bloodvessel forms, or an ulcerated hemroid, that pain occurs.

The creation or presence of a blood clots inside bloodvessels may show up as a protruding mass of tissue surrounding the anal opening. With such protrusion there may be anything from no pain at all to quite severe pain which may require hemmoroids relief treatment .

Hemorrhoids that have become ulcerated, and swollen up, or strangulated hemmroids, can in some cases cause severe pain. Less frequent is when internal hemroids cause the discharge of mucus and furhter a feeling of incomplete emptying. External hemorrhoids can be a pain when it comes to cleaning (cleansing) the anal area.

Diagnosing hemorrhoids can be done with an anoscope. This is essential to diagnose internal hemmorroids, bloodclots inside any anal bloodvessel or any strangulated or otherwise swollen ulcerated hemmeroids.extent of a person’s hemorrhoidal condition. Anoscopy is essential in evaluating painless hemorrhoids.

Hemmorrhoid Treatment

Stool bulking agents or softeners like psyllium husk can often help removing constipation and minimize straining which will allow the hemmerhoids to disappear. Thrombosed hemorroids can be treated with warm sitz baths, anestethic creams or ointments or with witch hazel.

Bleeding hemmoroids treatment can be done with injection sclerotherapy. This is when a sclerosing agent is injected into either a spider vein or a vercose vein in order to create fibrosis and close the lumen. The solution is usually 4-6% phenolic in vegetable oil. This should quickly shrink the problem and any bleeding in particular.

Hemorrhoid treatment with cryotherapy, applied directly on the hemroids can be very effective.

This is the proper spelling: Hemorrhoids. Quite a few people though spell it differently like:
