We normally think of haemroids as the external variety of the condition, this is when there is a protrusion out of the anus with blood vessels that often become swollen and infected. There are also internal haemorrhoids though and they can also be a problem but with slightly different signs and symptoms. We will try and sort out the differencies, how to treat external, bleeding or thrombosed haemmroids and how to get rid of internal haemmorroids.
Hemroids can be either internal hemmoroids or external hemmerhoids. The external hemmroids are when the hemmeroids (the swollen veins) have become prolapsed (protruded outside anus).
There are internal hemmoroids and also external hemorrhoids. External hemmroids are when the hemmeroids have prolapsed (outside anus). This is called prolapsed hemorrhoids and will sometimes cause bleeding.
Internal hemmoroids (hemoroids) are usually less painful than the external hemorroids, but there is a risk that the internal hemerhoids prolapse during a bowel movement or the strain of lifting heavy objects (or pregnancy) etc. If the hemmorrhoids then extends outside of the anus, there is a much greater risk of getting infected and bleeding hemmorhoids (hemorhoids), a state that can be very painful and require fast relief as well as longer term treatment.
External hemorrhoids have the feel and look of little lumps on the outside of your anus. These can be very sensitive and if they burst and start bleeding, there is a large risk of infections.
The number one good advice in this case - especially if your hemmorroids (hemmerhoids) are fairly small - is to try and remove what is causing the hemmroids in the first case. This can be things like changing your diet, primarily to avoid constipation which is a very frequent cause of hemmeroids. Sitting a lot (office job etc) can also be a cause and in these cases you might need to change the way you sit. Maybe adding a soft pillow to relieve the strain on your rectum, taking several breaks, go for short walks. Obviously you also need to avoid heavy strain (heavy lifts etc) which is a known contributing factor to getting hemorrhoids.
The first advice, especially in relatively small hemmorroids cases is to remove the cause of hemorroids first if possible.
Maintain a good anal hygiene, take a sitz bath every so often and if you combine with witch hazel remedies it is usually very helpful in removing hemroids. Hemmroid treatment and cure in the more severe cases may come to surgery or what is known as injection therapy (or infrared treatment).
Haemmoroids can be either internal or external. Haemroids of the external, or prolapsed type of hemmerhoids are often the worst as there is more risk these hemriods will start bleeding or become inflamed. Internal haemmoroids can sometimes prolapse during a bowel movement and then go back again. Treatment of haemroids (hemmeroids) can range from herbal cures to haemmroid surgery. Pictures of hemmeroids are available on the net for your reference.
